Self Referral

Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to.

Physiotherapy Direct – Self Referral Form

Once the booking service has received the form it will be reviewed by a clinician. This will take up to two working days from receipt. Please call MSK Newham on 020 3819 4999 to book an appointment, allowing time for referral to be reviewed.

Newham Mental Health Crisis Line/Crisis Support

The Enhanced Newham Mental Health Crisis Line is open 24 hours a day to support people living in Newham who experience a mental health crisis. The Helpline (calls are charged at local rates), is available 24 hours a day including weekends and Bank Holidays.

If you are looking to change your relationship with alcohol or drugs, we can help. We can also help anyone who is worried about a family member or friend. We offer a range of options including workshops, groups, and one-to-one key working sessions. Minor Eye Problems?

If you have a recent problem with your eyes - such as sore eyes, red eyes or visual disturbance - you can be assessed and treated by our local Minor Eye Conditions Service.To make an appointment, call one of the opticians on the back of this leaflet. You will be asked some questions about your symptoms in order to assess how quickly you need to be seen by the service, which will be within 24 hours in urgent cases and within a few days for routine appointments.
